It's been raining in new york for the past few days and will continue into the weekend. Yesterday, the U.S. Open matches were postponed all day. I don't really mind the rain though. It's fine when you've got a rain coat, wellies, and an umbrella. And it's also fine if you are a lazy ass like I am and therefore have an excuse to stay inside your apartment, unmoving like a 20 pound log, that's been stuck in the ground for 500 years. I ran a few errands yesterday. Picked up a anti-cavity flouride mouthrise and bought a birthday card for my roommate. I also called the gym to see when my membership would become active for the month of September. AND I went to the supermarket to buy vegetables for myself. Oh yes, I led quite the responsible life yesterday. I've been eating vegetables with dinner for the past 3 nights and I'm thinking to myself "hey, i feel a lot better than normal." BUT I forgot that this is also placebo pill week, and perhaps that's really the cause...hmmm...
I've also been pondering a new job recently. It just seems very hard to get moving and spring into action for this kind of task. In addition, I've never been very pro-active and so I would be the type of person who just wants the perfect job to come to her, land in her very own lap, and the whole procedure would be effortless. I want to be one of those people who has a small interest/passion that turned into a popular craze. I would like to be one of those lucky, lucky people who can say THIS happened to me: "Do what you love and the money will come."
