i often hear the complaint I WISH I COULD MEET MORE PEOPLE...from the voices inside of my head. actually i have heard some of my other friends express the same complaint but i often ask myself how i can successfully meet a few more people who i would truly connect with...
aside from the well-known ways: organized sports, work, book/cooking/running/dance/food clubs, thru other friends and i'm just chock out of ideas. although, i may have a real shot of making more friends when my long-distance boyfriend of one year finally moves to new york in september(!!!) in the meantime...perhaps aggressively talking to strangers and putting myself in different situations where i am alone instead of doing the same things with the same people could help me faciliate my goal...
